ExpressHold guides tellers through every variable — item type, deposit method, account status, exception conditions, and more — and produces the correct hold amount, availability dates, and a print-ready member notice in seconds.

Originally developed in 1997 and continuously refined, ExpressHold has been in active use at community banks and credit unions since 2000. It is currently in use at multiple California institutions.
ExpressHold calculates hold dates using a formula-based Federal Reserve holiday engine — no annual updates required. Weekends and all FRB processing holidays are handled automatically.
Every hold notice includes an embedded audit code that captures input parameters. If a hold is ever questioned, you can reconstruct exactly what was entered and why the hold was calculated as it was.
ExpressHold adapts to your institution's name, terminology, phone number, and option choices. Credit union or bank language is applied throughout — including member vs. customer, NCUA vs. FDIC, and all notice text.
The current version runs entirely in a web browser. Tellers access it from any computer or tablet on your network. No installation, no version management, no IT overhead.
